On this episode of Silicon Valley Insider, host Keith Koo  has special guest Lisa Woodley, Vice President of Customer Experience NTT Data, Inc. to discuss her passion in life; human-centered design.
Lisa shares her very diverse background  starting out in a the non-technical world (double majoring in English and Philosophy with a minor in Pscyhololgy) and continuing to explore the intersection between humans, design and technologies such as AI (Artificial Intelligence) and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and the many other considerations that must be taken into account (accountability, ethics, biases).
On this week's Cyber-tip Keith urges people to not get over confident in using VPN (virtual private network) technology in light of two major VPN providers having their own reported vulnerabilities.
On the Pivot, Lisa and Keith discuss the 180 degree view of human-centered design which sometimes causes un-intended consequences (such as creating security vulnerabilities).
